TERMS AND CONDITIONS

You will be required to acknowledge that you have read, understood and accept the Terms & Conditions in the Flower & Fern website before placing an order.

Your acceptance of these terms and your agreement to follow them and take them as binding is indicated by your use of this site. Do not use this site if you do not agree to be bound by these terms.

The terms may be changed from time to time so please check them periodically as your continued use of this site signifies your acceptance of any changes.

Delivery

Delivery will be throughout South Africa via a professional courier to the recipient’s address nationwide on a business day. Please allow 2 – 3 working days.

All orders must be signed for, the sender must ensure the recipient or nominated recipient must be at the premises to receive their gift.

Should there be no one to receive the gift, the gift will be returned to the courier’s offices and we will arrange will arrange with you for another delivery date. An additional charge will be made.

Delivery Costs & Pricing

Prices are inclusive of VAT, delivery costs will be R79 per delivery. For bigger hampers and baskets the delivery cost may be R100 or R120 for the heavier items.

Delivery to offices, hospitals etc.

Delivery will be to the main reception areas.

Delivery Responsibility

Flower & Fern shall not be held liable for loss or damage due to delays or failure to deliver the goods timeously from any cause beyond its reasonable control such as defaults of sub-contractors or suppliers, acts of omission of the Purchaser, availability of stock or failure or delays in transportation.

However Flower & Fern pride themselves on providing gifts of the highest standard to be delivered with efficiency and to bring pleasure and delight to the recipient.

Any person who receives the products at the delivery address is presumed conclusively to be authorised to accept delivery on your behalf.

Orders & Payment

The provision of goods is subject to availability. Flowers & Fern reserve the right to substitute an item for another of similar value. Flower & Fern reserves the right to alter prices without prior notice.

Payment is through PayFast. PayFast (Pty.) Ltd are the approved payment gateway for Standard Bank of South Africa.

PayFast has an excellent monitoring system to prevent fraudulent transactions from taking place and have an extremely low fraud rate passing through their system. They also make use of 3D Secure (Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode). This additional verification requires the buyer to enter a one-time password (sent to their phone or email account) to complete the payment with no credit card details being stored on the site.

The Shopping Basket allows you to check and modify your order before you arrange payment and delivery.

EFT Electronic Funds Transfer / Cash Deposit

EFT or cash deposits from a South African bank should be made within 24 hours of placing the order. The proof of payment should be e-mailed to us at pennyread@flowerandfern.co.za with the reference number on the order before delivery can take place.
